Behold the fallow seabed
A great lone crab
He chased away his neighbors
With cross and hook and jab
Comes the shellbound mollusk
It hunts for prey
But swayed by moral thesis
Spares the crab this day
Behold the purebred village
Colt and mare
See the raindrops falling
Down upon their hair
Wise the sage old stallions’
Heads do nod
And when the heavens opened
That’s when they saw God
Heuristic roadkill whining
Spiritual treadmill winding
Raspberry angels hiding
On the head of the linchpin
Behold the restless trembling
Of mean skinks’ legs
Atop the white crowned mountain
The skinks do lay their eggs
When the crackling shells burst
Cocks lurch forth
Fall their light upon thee
Stone to be thenceforth
Spectacular crimson vermin
Triangular gherkins whirling
Somnambulist rainbows tapping
On the head of the linchpin
Radiant dangers spinning
Galloping rangers sinning
Porphyric pillars lying
On the head of the linchpin

A Pit of Gorgons

Thieves had their beer and wine
Thieves add their turpentine
Medusa fills their minds
Bronze greaves are churning guns
This frenetic jumble makes a mockery of queens
The princess forms a coalition
Diamond tincture genes
This upended thimble takes a moment to excuse
A perfect wall is perforated
Deserts' prison malformed walrus fuse
Fools mad computers bleed
Mules glad for rivals' screed
Cantina's bonebare creed
Pawn's jewels for horseback son
This unending nonsense spurs the end of chromosomes
The duchess whines of indiscretion
Blistered haptic gnomes
This endemic incense slurs its chattering of arms
A brainy bead grows brainlessnesses
Blessed dumplings righteous penguin farms
Cloves wage wars of their own
Groves voice full throated groan
Vampiric silver throne
Roast loaves and crisping buns
This unarmored rancor winds up statuesque bamboo
The empress inspires insurrection
Greenhouse caribou
This magnetic anchor binds us truly to a cause
A mental case of meningitis
Graphic bandstand puerile learned turgid jaws

This is one source among many of eclectic progressive music
Luke A. Simpson studied music at the
University of Redlands, graduating in 2006 with many wild ambitions about creating interesting music.
Shortly thereafter he hit his head and forgot about it, spending a decade working as a software engineer.
He fortuitously hit his head again in 2017 and—his memory returned—is making music now.
